Originally stated that she died (according to S.A. White) at sea around 13 Dec 1758 in the sinking of the "Violet" during the crossing to France.
However, the Additions and Corrections posted online state: Marie-Claire died 16 Dec 1758 in the shipwreck of the "Ruby" which ran aground on the rocks of Pico, in the Azores.
