Leon's father, Joseph-Chrisologue Billy immigrated with his family to Biddeford, Maine USA. There the family name changed to Baiguy. Joseph C. Billy died with the name Joseph Baiguy on 7 Jan 1917. Celina Brunelle Billy Baiguy died 1937. They are both buried at Saint Joseph's Cemetary Biddeford.

Leon's restaurant was called Imperial Cafe, located at 19 Alfred Street, Biddeford, Maine.
