Camille Auger’s grandfather was Joseph Auger, a NWC clerk who worked at the Red River North fur trading post in 1799. She had e.migrated to Minnesota with her father abt 1850 where she married a neighbour from back in Lotinierre. They moved to Manitoba from Penbina in 1870
