Research has proven that there is no Onesiphore born to Jerome Martineau & Hedgewidge Pelletier born in St. Francois de la Riviere du Lac or anywhere else in Canada or the USA...This is the same person as Bonaventure Martineau born to the same parents on 3 Oct 1833 but changed his name or chose to use the name Onesiphore in the USA. and married Marie Basilice Hubert on the 27 Nov.1856 in Bradley, Jackson, Illinois.
