Back to record of: Anna-Margrethe Pettersen

Olafs mother Anna Margrethe Pettersen was b. in Tromsø,30.03.1857, and was a daugther of Hans Andreas Giæver Pettersen and his wife Dorothea Marie Pedersen.
Hans was a trader in Tromsø, had a mans shop. Boothe of her parents died young, Hans was 39 years old, and Dorothea was 30.
They got 7 children, 4 oh theme grown up, and Anna Margrethe was the youngest of the girl. Her brother Lars Jacob became to
Chicago and got married to a swedish girl. His relatives are in Indiana and other places. I have good mailcontact with his
grandaugther Nancy in Valparaiso.
Dorothea Marie Pedersen was born 27.11.1830 in Øksfjord in Finnmark county. Finnmark is the northest county in Norway, and have border
to Russia and Finnland. Her parents was Peder Benjamin Pedersen, born 1800 in Kvæfjord in Troms county, and his wife Britha Mathisdtr. Hetta,
born 1806 in Kautokeino, Finnmark. They have 16 children, one of the boys, Marcus Arnt, i,m a descendants after.
So you see, therefore i,m intressted in Dorotheas descendants.
Brita Mathisdtr. Hettas familybacground can be fallowed back to Sweden about last 1500 hundred. They was swedish, but from about
of 1780 we looked at them as samepeople, because they have reindear.
We can follow Peder Benjamins familybackground back to the goldsmith Jan Lampe from Amsterdam in Holland. He became a citisen in
Bergen, Norway 1550. In our,s day, Bergen is the 3th biggest town/city in Norway, and are in the west of Norway. From the north of Germany, Holland,
Belgium and Danmark, it was a stream of people coming to Bergen. Still we call Bergen the Hansatown, because the immigrants from
those country was called "hanseater". Bergen also have a beer called Hansa, a good one, and a lot of the old building are from 1500-1600-1700 hundred.
Still we called the piers, Tyskerbrygge. Tysker means german.
Hope this will satisfy you.
