Yarmouth - Mr. Herman Martin, barber in Yarmouth for close to 60 years, died at the hospital here Sunday, October 7th at the age of 75. He still worked one week before his death. Mr. Martin was a founding member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2181 of this town. He leaves his wife, born Sarah A. LaBerge; a son, J.L. Martin of Yarmouth; three daughters, Mrs. G.W. Smith of Digby, Patricia Martin of Halifax, Mrs. George Gates of Vancouver. He also leaves twelve grandchildren and a great-grandchild. His funeral service
was held Wednesday morning the 10th at St. Ambrose Cathedral.
