"RAOUL ARMAND Tremblay - 86 years.
Raoul Armand Tremblay, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14th at the QE II Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in St. Nazaire, Quebec and farmed in Vilbois, PQ for some time. In 1940 he met and married Noella Fortin. Raoul had a pioneering desire and an adventurous spirit and in 1948 he moved his family to Jean Cote, AB. In 1969, after his children were grown up, he and Noella moved to Falher, AB. In 1994 the couple moved to Grande Prairie to be close to their 3 daughters. After moving to Alberta, Raoul worked at a sawmill in the winter and as a carpenter in the summer. He loved the outdoors and was never happier when he was one with nature. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour and his love of life. He was predeceased by his parents Ubald and Marie Anna (Gagnon) and stepmother Rosanna Pruneau, his sister Rolande, his son-in-law Robert Lefebvre and his granddaughter Celine. He leaves to mourn his wife Noella, his children Alain (JoAnne Ricard), Lilianne, Claudette (David Heck), Gisele (Denis Garant), Nicole (Don Brooks) and Michel. He also leaves to mourn, his sister Cecile, 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Grandchildren: Dale (Jacqueline), Michele, Sandra (Keith), Cindy, Syvianne (Mike), Denise (Corey), Gerry (Sandy), Louise (Russ), Wade, Terry, Carmen, Rosanne (Jason), Trinity, Michael (Stephanie), Cory, Janine and Marc. Great grandchildren: Shyla, Nicholas, Tannon, Hally, Reece, Christian, Jason, Davin, Cassidy, Jade, Brendan, Saige, Kimberly, Kyra and Shelby. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, December 17th, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church with Father Gerry Pettipas officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the QE II Hospital Foundation in his memory. Funeral arrangement were under the direction of Oliver?s Grande Prairie Funeral Chapel and Crematorium."

Noëlla Rose Tremblay, born on December 24, 1922, in Jonquière, QB, and resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at the Grande Prairie Care Centre, at the age of 99 years.

Noëlla will be sadly missed by her children: Liliane, Alain (Joanne), Claudette, Gisele (Denis), Nicole, and Michel (Maryann); grandchildren: Dale (Jacqueline), Michéle, Sandra (Keith), Sylvianne (Mike), Denise, Gerry, Louise (Serge), Wade (Rachel), Terry (Hadeel), Carmen (Jarrod), Rosanne (Jason), Trinity (Jennifer), Mike, Cory, Jannine, and Marc; thirty-four great-grandchildren; as well as four great great-grandchildren.

Noëlla was predeceased by her husband Raoul; parents Ulderic and Ernestine Fortin; granddaughter Cèline; as well as several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews
