Audrey Mary Pittman, 73, of Lunenburg passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2009 surrounded by her loving family at Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg.

Born in Quyon, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late John and Lucy (Mayer) Dolan.

Audrey embraced and celebrated life. A dearly loved mother and devoted grandmother, she loved spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed and remembered.

Audrey is survived by sons, Dan (Mary Jane), Lunenburg; Tommy (Nancy), Lunenburg; Jimmy (Janet Robertson), Lunenburg; Michael (Carla), Lunenburg; grandchildren, Natalie, T.J., Jennifer, Alex, Emily, Christine, Shannon and Jillian; step grandchildren, Kellye and Tracey Robertson; and sister, Marguerite Gibbons, Ottawa.

She was predeceased by her husband James Patrick Pittman (The Singing Cook) and sisters, Ida Mae and Kathleen.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. A private family memorial Mass will be held on Monday at St. Norbert’s Roman Catholic Church, Lunenburg, Father Joe Christensen officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
