Eli Carpenter ... last evening at ... o'clock. Mr. Carpenter was a Civil War veteran. He was born in Canada and had resided in Sandy Hill for nearly ... years. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Z..., five sons, Fred, Bert, Augustus, Francis, and Leon all of this place, three brothers, Frank and David of Massachusetts, and Peter of Saratoga, and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Scott and Mrs. Julia Yarter, both of Sandy Hill.
