As the youngest of eight children, Helen cherished her memories of growing up on the family farm on Indian River and the river was rooted in her thoughts throughout her life
After she left school, she worked as a drafts person for Genelco where she worked on the blueprints for the Lancaster Bomber. Here she met and married Pat, the love of her life. They moved to Cobourg where they raised five children. Helen later returned to work at Leonard's Jewellers where she completed the Diamond Gemology Course. Her core values were her religion and her family. She gave all of herself to her family her entire life and will be missed by us all.
