Back to record of: Francois Jerome

Baptized 30-Jan-1848; parrain Cyrille Lefebvre; marraine, Lyse Prevost.

"As soon as he was able to work, he hired out as a clerk in a merchandise store in the city of Saint Louis de Gonzague. He did not, however, stay there long, but followed the tide of immigration to Crookston, Minnesota.

He was also known as Frank. Although he was baptized a Regimbal, he chose the surname Jerome upon the event of his naturalization in the USA.

For many years Frank was a hotel keeper, but an illness forced him to retire from active work.

He died in the year 1908 from complications of cancer."

- Biography written by Fr Clement Regimbal (1891-1933), son of Fabien, Frank's brother.
