n his 100th year, during the early hours of January 11, 2013 Monty passed away peacefully at Hôpital Charles-Lemoyne, Greenfield Park, QC. Predeceased by his devoted wife Simone who was "The love of his life", dear daughter Joanne and younger sister Barbara Wentzell. He is survived by his loving sons, Vernon (Jeanette) of Midland, ON; Rolly (Dagmara "Mary") of Burlington, ON; Richard (Sherrie) of Whitehorse, YT; Brian (Stephanie) of Squamish, B.C. Lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren, 22 great- grandchildren and 6 great-great- grandchildren. He also leaves 7 siblings, sisters Joan Cutten, Betty Sanderson, Ethel Faulkner, Phyllis Tetlock and brothers Ken (Doreen), Richard (Joan), Jack (Janet) and their families. Heartfelt thanks to his many caring neighbours and friends residing at 22 Lorne, in particular Élide Paquin, as well as many others who have been of utmost support, and to the dedicated Nursing Staff and attending physicians on 3rd floor North at Hôpital Charles-Lemoyne.
