Funeral services for longtime Hearst resident André Paul Hébert, 75, of 358 Hwy 11 East were held Nov. 29, 2001 in Hearst. He died Nov. 25 at Ottawa Civic Hospital of complications following surgery. Born Sept. 18, 1926 in St-Louis-de-Gonzague, Quebec, he moved to Hallébourg in 1934 and later to Hearst. Employed at Levesque Lumber for 40 years where he retired as a millwright in 1986, he was a member of the Club des aîné-e-s seniors club. Predeceased by his wife Gertrude Hébert in 1998 in Hearst, he leaves his sons Ghislain (Thérèse) Hébert of Orleans, Jean-Marc (Denise) of Carleton Place and Fabien (Simone) of Hearst. Also surviving are his sister Marie-Ange Plourde of Hearst, a brother Louis (Georgette) Hébert of Longlac, granddaughters Karine and Arianne, grandsons Michel, Joël and Patrick, and companion Jeannine Lizotte of Hearst. Rev. Sébastien Groleau officiated the service at the Église St-Pie-X Church. Interment followed at the Monseigneur Grenier Cemetery.
