Alma Sykes, of Lucknow passed away at Pinecrest Manor on Sunday January 20, 2013 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Sykes. She was born in Elma Township on April 24, 1914 to the late Edna (Medd) and Walter Foreman. Dear Mother of Pat Everson of Lucknow, Sharon (Roger) Cuillerier of Holyrood, John (Deanna) Sykes of Milton and William (Karen) Sykes of Georgetown. Also greatly missed by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, sisters Rose Henderson of Bramelea, Leila Elston of Barrie and Doris Morden of Chatham, brother Don Foreman and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Esther Wright, Evelyn Burns and Mary Watt and brothers Tom and Cliff Foreman. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held in the Lucknow Complex social room on Sunday February 3rd, 2013 from 1-4 PM. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown.
