Mary Oryelle was born at Altona on Sept. 6, 1848, she was married to Oliver Forkey of Mooers Forks near which place most of her married life was spent untill death called her to the life beyond on Dec. 18, 1913.  Mrs. Forkey was ever a true honorable wife and mother, one who love her home nad one that did all that lay in her power to make her home attractive and to rear her family to honorable manhood and womanhood. Of the twelve children which were born to her, seven survive her, all of whom were at ther bedside at the time of her death. Also most of the time during the many weeks that she lay in bed afflicted by the lingering illness which caused her death. Beside her children, Oliver Jr., Charles, Alexander, and Arthur of Mooers Forks, Joseph of West Chazy, she is survived by her husband, also two sisters, Mrs. Ephraim Lavoie and Mrs. Clifford Robare, both of Ludlow Mass. For a good many years, Mrs. Forkey had not enjoyed the best of health, yeat had been able to discharge her house duties until three months ago, when she was obliged to take her bed, from that time until her death, she suffered greatly from a complication of diseases. [...] Funeral service Wednesday Dec. 17th from the R. C. church of Mooers Forks was conducted by Rev. Father Rensing, pastor of the church. Interment was made in the cemetery at that place, the pallbearers were five sons and a son-in-law Jos Barcome. The family and especially the aging husband have the sympathy of their friends and neighbors in their bereavement.
