Biographie Roy Blanche

Blanche (Roy) Foley, 93, of West Hartford, widow of Emile Foley. died Wednesday (April 3, 2002), at Hartford Hospital. Born in St. Homore, Schenley, Quebec, Canada, she resided in Hartford, moving to West Hartford over 30 years ago, Mrs. Foley was a communicant of St. Mark the Evangelist Church, West Hartford.

She is survived by a son, William E. Foley of West Hartford; two daughters and a son-in-law, Helen C. Batayte of West Hartford, Betty F. and Joseph Ferreira of West Hartford; a brother, Florian Roy of Lewiston, ME; two sisters, Lydia Beaulieu of Lewiston, ME and Germaine Belodeau of Auburn, ME; four grandchildren, William Batayte and his wife Kirsten, Tina, Tammy and Thomas Ferreira; four great-grandchildren, Andrea, William, Zachary and Matthew; and several nieces and nephews, among them, Paulette Riccio of Windsor. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Edward Batayte.

Funeral procession will be Saturday, April 6, 9am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave, West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10am in St Mark the Evangelist Church, West Hartford. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Calling hours will be Friday, 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 705 N.
