Biographie Priscilla-Ann Hadley
Priscilla St. Pierre Patterson of North Charlestown, died May 1, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Claremont, NH on May 24, 1930 the daughter of Robert E. and Mable (Whittemore) Hadley.
She was raised in Claremont and was a graduate of Stevens High School in the Class of 1948.
Priscilla received her degree in education and taught home economics in East Haven, CT, Lebanon, NH and Crown Point, NY. She retired in 1986 and returned to the Claremont & Charlestown area.
She celebrated her 60th Stevens High School Alumni Year in 2008, was a 50 year member of Woodman-Aurora Chapter #26 Order of Eastern Star, a 35 year member of the Sugar River Grange #190, was a 4-H Leader for 15 years and was a member of the Business & Professional Women's Club.
Her zest for life was unparalleled by most who knew her. She found much happiness in socializing with her friends and family. Priscilla enjoyed her time dancing, camping, playing bingo and spending time at the "Mc Donald's Breakfast Club".
She was the widow of Leo St. Pierre whom she married on April 24,1954 and he died April 27, 1999. She later married Donald F. Patterson on Sept. 22, 2002 and he died in January of 2005.
The surviving family includes 2 step-sons, Lester St. Pierre and his wife, Sandra of Claremont and Peter St. Pierre and his wife, Janet of Lebanon; four daughters, Denise Kelsey and her husband, Douglas of Oakfield, NY, Elaine St. Pierre of Crown Point, NY, Martha Breedlove of Oak Harbor, WA and Mary LeBlanc and her husband, Scott of Claremont; two sons, Robert St. Pierre and his wife, Cheryl of Pike, NH and Thomas St. Pierre and his wife, Mary of North Charlestown; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter and nieces and nephews.
She was also pre-deceased, by two sisters, Ruth Scanlon and Roberta Miller.
