Biographie Raiche Fleurette

SISTER FLEURETTE D RAICHE: LISBON, MAINE. Sister Fleurette D Raiche, 62, former teacher at Rice Memorial High School South Burlington, VT., died Dec 5 in Lisbon of heart disease. Formely Sister St. Cécile de l'Enfant Jésus, she was a Sister of the Presentation of Mary, and was religious coordinator for St. Ann's Parish in Lisbon. She was born in Fall River, Mass., Aug. 2, 1910, the daughter of Horace and Virginia (Bérubé) Raiche. She attended St. Marie's High School, Manchester, N.H. and received her BA and master's degrees and a certificate in theology from Providence College, R.I. Sister Raiche made her profession at St. Hyacinthe, QC in 1933. She taught school in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont as well as the Rice Memorial and at St-ANdré's High School, Biddeford, Maine. She also was diocesan school supervisor for the Portland, Maine, diocese. She leaves a sister, Miss Cécile Raiche, Manchester, N.H. Burial was Dec 7 in Methuen, Mass. (clipping from Newspaper.com)
