Edna's death certificate indicates she died of Cerebral Stenosis (narrowing of the arteries in the brain) but a newspaper clipping said she took poison to end her own life. The newspaper clip also said she was already ill so it may be because of that, the doctors did not feel the need to put the poisoning on the death certificate.
